Seventeen Magazine and CyndiBands Internship Essentials

It is the age of internships for the up and coming work force. The more experience one has the better in order to stand out among a sea of applicants. But how do you score a great internship? Seventeen Magazine is here to help! Seventeen knows the importance of internships on today’s youth in order to prepare them for the future. Earlier this year Seventeen presented their first-ever Internship 101 event at the Hearst Tower in NYC  and asked CyndiBands to participate. Over 150 enthusiastic students were in attendance and received an insider’s guide to internships and advice on how to land their dream internships and stand out in style from Seventeen’s Editor-in-Chief, Ann Shoket, special guest Lauren Berger, Founder & CEO of InternQueen.com, and a panel of industry experts.

Isabella Kim was in attendance and did a great video that gives an overview of the event along with details on the swag bag that you can win!

Not only did guests receive advice from some of the biggest names in the industry, but they also went home with swag bags overflowing with internship essentials. The swag bags included 100% Pure, Brew Lab Tea, Orbit® gum, CARGO Cosmetics, CyndiBands, feedmyskin, Jonathan Adler, Keds, KIND Healthy Snacks, Hollywood Fashion Secrets, Macy’s,  Oscar Blandi, See Jane Work®, Simple Squares Organic Snack Bars, Tanda Zap, and Vera Bradley, plus a copy of “Build Your Dreams: How to Make  a Living Doing What You Love” by Alexis Irvin and Chip Hiden.
